Emily Maloof is an international trade analyst with Georgetown Economic Services (GES). She provides economic, regulatory and financial analyses related to countervailing duty investigations and reviews at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Emily drafts petitions for the initiation of antidumping duty and countervailing duty investigations at the U.S. Department of Commerce, as well as reviews and evaluates submissions in antidumping duty proceedings.
Prior to joining GES, Emily served as an International Trade Compliance Analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where she monitored and analyzed import/export data and information to document adherence of U.S. trading partners to tariff provisions, court-ordered import limitations, and other established import controls. As part of her duties, Emily also provided quantitative analysis of subsidization benefits provided by foreign governments to select foreign industries by analyzing foreign and domestic market sales.
Emily received her B.S. summa cum laude, from Texas Christian University and her Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, School of Public Policy.
