Vladimir Varbanov is a trade analyst with Georgetown Economic Services (GES), an economic consulting subsidiary of Kelley Drye.  He provides data analytics support to the export control and sanctions compliance team by leveraging his financial analysis and statistical modelling skill sets. He regularly assists in the review of large client databases in relation to voluntary self-disclosures and post-disclosure compliance monitoring procedures. Additionally, he uses his familiarity with the Bulgarian, Russian, and Ukrainian languages to facilitate the translation of client documentation.

Through his work as a research assistant, Vladimir has become intimately familiar with import classifications and customs issues. Vladimir is also Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 2 candidate.
